Excellent piece! Mercury retrograde is a funny thing; it always brings the return of unfinished business, or resumes something put on hold in the past. No wonder you're echoing ancient battles of ruthless empire building; that's going on now ("the would be restoration of America's western hemisphere empire" and "the would be restoration of the russian empire" as we speak.)

When doing my research for my book on Mercury Retrograde years ago, I was astonished to find that those are periods when people who have escaped justice are busted, when crimes of the past are uncovered, when illegal corporate behavior is brought to light, and when we find out that something that's happened wasn't what it seemed, wasn't driven by what we thought, and isn't ending because of something we haven't been told.

These wars are truly unfinished business to push an ancient agenda which cannot be resolved, offered to the public through a cracked lens. They seek to return to a time which never was, asserting claims which are of foggy origin, which cannot be attained by the means they're using.

It's really interesting that Pluto conjunct South Node happens on St Patrick's Day. I don't know why but I associate that and the shamrock with luck with money
