New Moon in Sagittarius - December 2024

The New Moon occurs at 06:21 (UT) on December 1, 2024. The Moon and Sun will be at 09SAG32.

There’s so much focus on Sagittarius right now, how we think, what we believe, what we know…and what we think we know. Mercury retrograde doesn’t conjoin this lunation, but it plays into the story as it lies opposite Jupiter and Jupiter is opposite the Moon and Sun. It’s like a cat’s cradle of aspects, or maybe I should say fractals, as everything is just a repeat of something else. Repeating patterns. Echoes.

11:11- again!

All day, my memories were triggered, echoes of the past, perhaps foretellings of the future. It’s all so big, perhaps too big. So instead of thinking as I walked to pick up a parcel, I snapped photos of my surroundings – roads, reflections, buildings, anything that invited me to look from a different angle, to reframe until I found a viewpoint that felt right in my heart as well as to my eyes.

At this lunation, we have an invitation to start again just as every New Moon is a fresh start. But first, we need the head and the heart to find one another, halfway on the road to somewhere.
